We're a truck dealer in Kissimmee specializing in food trucks for mobile food businesses across Orlando and Central Florida. Located at 1726 N Kelley Ave, we build and sell complete food trucks - self-propelled mobile kitchens ready to drive to your location.
Most people come to us because they want a food truck that doesn't need towing, looks professional, and can move between locations easily throughout the day. We build custom food trucks from the ground up - not reselling used trucks or ordering from somewhere else.
We've been building food trucks in Kissimmee for over 12 years. Standard build time is 3-4 weeks from order to delivery. Everything gets built to Florida health department codes so your truck passes inspection first try.
Types of Food Trucks We Build
We specialize in complete food truck builds for entrepreneurs starting mobile food businesses in Central Florida. Here's what we offer:
Custom Food Trucks
These are complete mobile kitchens built into box truck chassis. Everything's self-contained - cooking equipment, refrigeration, water systems, generator, serving windows. You get in, start the engine, drive to your location and start serving.
Most food trucks we build are 16-20 feet long. That gives you enough kitchen space for serious cooking without the truck being too big to park or maneuver in tight spots.
We build custom layouts based on your specific menu. A coffee truck needs different equipment placement than a taco truck or BBQ truck. Tell us what you're cooking and we design the workflow to match.
Food Truck Sizes Available
14-16 feet - Compact size, good for simple menus or tight parking situations. Coffee trucks, hot dog stands, simple sandwich operations.
16-18 feet - Most popular range. Enough space for full kitchen setup with griddle, fryer, refrigeration, prep area. Works for most concepts.
18-20 feet - Larger operations needing specialty equipment. BBQ trucks with smokers, pizza trucks with ovens, multi-station setups.
20-26 feet - Maximum size we build. For operations running complex menus or needing multiple cooking stations. These are serious commercial kitchens on wheels.
Base Vehicle Options
We use box truck chassis as the base - Isuzu NPR, Ford E-Series, Chevy P30, GMC step vans. Either used trucks we source and rebuild or new chassis if you want everything brand new.
Used trucks (5-10 years old, inspected and serviced) keep costs lower. We check the engine, transmission, brakes, everything mechanical before starting the build. Used chassis saves you $15,000-$25,000 versus new.
New truck chassis costs more but you get warranty coverage and zero mileage. Good if you're planning high-mileage operation or want maximum reliability.
We handle all the title work, registration, and vehicle inspections. You get a properly registered commercial vehicle ready to operate.
Why Buy From a Local Truck Dealer
You can order a food truck from a dealer in Texas, California, or buy used from some individual selling theirs. But here's what happens when you don't buy local:
Out-of-state trucks often don't meet Florida health codes. The three-compartment sink is wrong size, fire suppression isn't rated correctly, something doesn't pass inspection. Now you're spending thousands fixing it before you can get permitted.
When you got questions or problems, you're calling long distance and leaving messages. They already got your money so they're not in a hurry to help.
Shipping a food truck from across the country costs $4,000-$6,000 and takes weeks. If something's damaged in transit or built wrong, good luck getting it resolved fast.
Buying from a local truck dealer in Kissimmee means:
We know Florida health codes for Orange County, Osceola County, Seminole County. Your truck gets built to pass inspection here, not some other state's requirements.
We're local at 1726 N Kelley Ave. Stop by with questions. See trucks we're building. Talk to the people actually doing the fabrication work.
No shipping costs. Pick it up yourself or we deliver locally for reasonable cost.
When you need service or repairs after the sale, we're here. Bring the truck back. We know how it's built because we built it. We stock parts.
Warranty and Service
Every food truck comes with one-year warranty on all kitchen equipment and installation. Something breaks during that first year, we fix or replace it.
After warranty ends, we still provide service. We've had customers bring trucks back years later for repairs or upgrades. We help however we can.
Some customers have bought multiple trucks from us as they expand. Started with one truck, business grew, came back for a second or third to serve different locations or different menus.
Financing Options
We work with lenders who specialize in food truck financing. They understand mobile food businesses - you're not explaining to a regular bank why you need a truck with a kitchen inside.
Typical terms are 15-20% down payment, monthly payments for 5-7 years. Interest rates run 7-12% depending on credit.
Some people use SBA loans for better rates but those take longer to approve. Need solid business plan and good credit.
If you got decent credit and some savings, approval usually takes 1-2 weeks. Then we start building once financing clears.

Local Knowledge Advantage
Being a local truck dealer means we know the Central Florida mobile food market:
We know which commissaries are good in Orlando and Kissimmee. Where to park your truck, do food prep, dump wastewater legally.
We know health department requirements for each county. Orange County inspectors focus on certain things. Osceola County has different priorities. We build trucks that pass everywhere.
We know where food trucks operate successfully. Lake Eola farmers market, UCF area, downtown Orlando lunch spots, Old Town in Kissimmee, International Drive, Osceola Heritage Park events. We can tell you what locations work.
We know local suppliers for ingredients, paper goods, equipment parts. New truck owners always ask where to buy supplies - we got answers because we're local.
Food Trucks vs Food Trailers
People ask this constantly when they're starting out. Here's the real difference and why someone chooses a truck over a trailer.
Food trucks are complete vehicles. Everything's built into one unit you drive. Self-propelled, no towing needed. You drive to your location, park, open the serving window, start cooking.
Food trailers you tow behind your own vehicle. Need a truck capable of pulling it. Hitch up, tow to location, unhitch, set up.
When People Choose Trucks
You're moving between locations during the day. Breakfast spot 7-10am, lunch location 11am-2pm, dinner spot 5-9pm. A truck makes this way easier - just drive between locations.
You want professional appearance. Food trucks look more established than trailers. Better for upscale events, corporate catering, areas where image matters.
You don't have a vehicle that can tow. If you don't already own a truck capable of pulling a trailer, buying a food truck makes more sense than buying a tow vehicle AND a trailer.
You're doing lots of events. Food trucks are easier to position at festivals, fairs, corporate events. Drive in, park exactly where you need to be, serve, drive out when done.
When People Choose Trailers Instead
You already own a truck that can tow. Why pay for another vehicle if you got something that works?
You're staying in one location mostly. If you're setting up at the same spot for weeks or months, trailer works fine. The mobility advantage of a truck doesn't matter.
You want to leave the kitchen at a location. With a trailer, unhitch and drive your truck home. Leave the trailer set up at an event or regular spot. Can't do that with a food truck.
Both options work. Depends on your specific situation and needs.
